For TAXUS, this congress is not only a professional event: it is an opportunity to compare experiences, discuss with other teams and continue to promote a more preventive, useful and connected to the reality of projects environmental assessment. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Eight technical posters to share experience and applied innovation<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this edition we present <\/span><b>eight technical posters<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  that gather part of the work developed by different areas of TAXUS in the last years. The topics reflect the diversity of our activity and our interest in improving methodologies applied to environmental assessment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The posters address issues such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/taxusmedioambiente.com\/en\/publicacion\/nonparametric-statistics-applied-to-the-evaluation-of-biological-representativeness-and-seasonality-in-avifauna-studies\/\"><b>nonparametric statistics<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to evaluate representativeness and biological seasonality in avifauna studies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The design of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/taxusmedioambiente.com\/en\/publicacion\/design-and-preparation-of-informative-and-didactic-materials-to-bring-environmental-impact-studies-closer-to-the-population\/\"><b>informative and didactic materials<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to bring environmental impact studies closer to the population.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This selection of papers shows how environmental assessment advances when it combines field experience, data analysis, new technologies and communication skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Two oral communications: metabarcoding and remote monitoring of water quality.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to the posters, TAXUS will present <\/span><b>two oral communications<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> during the congress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the one hand, <\/span><b>\u00c1lvaro Fueyo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">head of the Environmental Genetics Laboratory of TAXUS, will intervene on Wednesday with a communication about <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/taxusmedioambiente.com\/en\/laboratory-and-environmental-dna\/biodiversity-analysis-service-metabarcoding\/\"><b>metabarcoding applied to environmental assessment<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a line of work increasingly relevant for the analysis of biodiversity and monitoring of ecosystems using molecular tools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the other hand, <\/span><b>Javier Granero<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, managing partner of TAXUS, will present on Thursday a paper on the project <\/span><b>DAMTAQ<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">focused on remote monitoring of water quality in reservoirs.
