



The work carried out by TAXUS ensures that construction works are executed in accordance with environmental regulations and best sustainable practices, with special attention to the protection of flora, including the marking and management of protected species; fauna, through measures to avoid disturbance or displacement of sensitive species; and Habitats of Community Interest (HICs), ensuring their preservation and delimitation. They also supervise the hydrological system, controlling water quality and avoiding contamination; soils, through the correct management of earthworks and the restoration of affected areas; and waste, ensuring its segregation, storage and proper disposal.
They also carry out archaeological monitoring during earthmoving works, to identify and protect possible findings of heritage interest. These efforts are complemented by the preparation of periodic reports, technical advice, and the training and awareness of workers, ensuring a sustainable and respectful development with the natural and cultural environment.
