The study proposes a methodological framework for assessing the representativeness and seasonality of bird communities inventoried in the envelopes of five projects that required annual cycle surveys of avifauna. The use of non-parametric estimators is a statistical approach that allows data to be analyzed without assuming a specific distribution, useful when data are sparse, atypical, or do not follow “normal” patterns.
The data collected in five full annual cycle avifauna inventories corresponding to renewable energy installation projects in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León are analyzed.
