hile there are numerous approaches proposed by the academic community to assess the risk of collision with wind turbines in wind farm projects, the number of models that require reasonable sampling efforts and accessible information is limited.


This is the case of methodologies such as the extrapolation of the density of observations or collision risk models such as the one proposed by Band et al. (2007). Although these methods complement each other
, they have limitations, such as the omission of variables related to the vulnerability and/or sensitivity of each species, or the lack of spatial resolution, in each case.
