Noise assessment for better environmental management

Industrial activities, construction sites, means of transport and other infrastructures generate noise impacts that must be known, evaluated and, if necessary, corrected. TAXUS MEDIO AMBIENTE, counts among its business group with ACUSMED, which since 2009, is a testing laboratory accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC), according to the UNE-EN-ISO 17.025 Standard for the measurement of environmental noise.

In addition ACUSMED is:

  • Acoustic Evaluation Entity in the Community of Castilla y León
  • ECA Level II in the Basque Country (Environmental Control Entity for the measurement of environmental noise, level II).
  • ECA in the Valencian Community for the measurement of environmental noise.
  • ECA in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia (environmental noise measurement)
  • EC-PCA Catalonia (measurement of sound levels)
  • ECA in the Canary Islands (noise pollution).
  • Entity registered in the Register of Entities and Professionals for the monitoring and control of activities subject to environmental assessment in Castilla y La Mancha.
  • Entity registered in the Registry of Environmental Control Bodies of the Principality of Asturias.
