The establishment of ecological flow regimes is one of the mandatory contents of the hydrological plans, and their degree of compliance is subject to specific monitoring. On the other hand, the increasingly erratic and unpredictable meteorology generates extraordinary situations of floods and dry periods.
All this, together with what is established in the different concession agreements, generates the need to update the flow curves of the gauging stations.
